Phuong bread was established in the 1990s, located on Phan Chau Trinh Street in the ancient town of Hoi An. Initially, it was just a small stall located in Hoi An Market but later moved the location to Phan Chau Trinh Street.
Phuong bread seems to be no stranger to the people of the old town as well as to guests because of its inherent popularity, becoming a culinary destination that most visitors to Hoi An also want to visit.
The bakery is very crowded. Diners who want to taste Phuong bread sometimes have to wait in line to buy bread with different flavors that are hard to find elsewhere.
The shop has more than 20 different fillings, from spring rolls, mixes, and pate… to Western-style dishes such as ham, sausage, cheese, and bacon to help visitors have more choices. One of the things that makes Phuong bread so famous is the sauces that are made according to the recipe only available at the store. Along with a variety of accompanying vegetables such as cucumbers, pickles, cinnamon, cilantro, onions, etc., the bread still retains its flavor and is not boring.
The filling is sprinkled with a special sauce, combined with the crisp freshness of vegetables to create a unique delicious taste that is hard to find anywhere else. Therefore, Phuong bread shop often receives compliments from tourists and also appears in many foreign travel newspapers.
